George Reddy is a biopic based on the life of a student leader, boxer and Gold medalist, who influenced the politics of Andhra Pradesh state in Osmania University between 1967 and 1972. He is often remembered for inspiring revolutionary thoughts until he was brutally murdered at his hostel in 1972.

After two decades in prison, legendary factionist Chennakesava Reddy (Balakrishna) returns to Rayalaseema, seeking revenge. Standing in his way, is his son Bharath (also Balakrishna), a law-abiding police officer.

A man claims to be the long-lost brother of three sisters, returning to help improve their lives. His true identity, and the intention behind his scheme, is revealed in a Rayalaseema-set flashback.

Helen lives in a cortiço with her grandmother, Mrs. Graça, who supports the family with informal jobs, such as selling skewers. Still very naive, her biggest concern is buying her grandmother a birthday present: a makeup kit. The girl is going to bend over backwards to get the money and her search will reveal the daily life of those living in tenements, outlining a collective story from the network of relations that the girl establishes.
